Students in Prof. Calhoun’s English 177: Archival Information & AI class are invited to sign up for a transcribe-athon with the UW Oral History Program. During this event, students will learn about the UW Madison Oral History Program from lead archivist Troy Reeves and then spend the remainder of the time working with AI software to produce an oral history transcript. This event will require a laptop and headphones, both of which can be provided if given advance notice. Space is limited – RSVP required.
